Yes, we know. £16.50 for a sit down meal in a restaurant, in Mayfair, sounds unbelievable – but it’s true. El Pirata has always been known for great value dining.
Choose two tapas from a list of 13 dishes, and you’ll get fresh bread and a soft drink to go with it. The tapas you can choose from are classics, including the ever-popular gambas al pil-pil (prawns in olive oil, garlic and dried hot chilli peppers), croquetas de jamón Ibérico (Iberian ham croquettes) and tortilla Española (Spanish omelette with potatoes and caramelised onion).

If vegetarian food is your thing, why not try the padron peppers, patatas bravas (triple cooked potatoes with bravas sauce and garlic aioli) or our chef’s special champiñones al ajillo (mixed mushrooms with garlic, chilli and breadcrumbs). There’s plenty to choose from.
If you’re not especially in a hurry, and you are dining with a friend, you can also add one of our two traditional paellas – Valenciana or Marinera – at £31 and £41 respectively for two people. That’s a significant discount on the a la carte paella prices.
Our Set Lunch is available from 12-4pm, Tuesday to Friday, so if you want a relaxed change from the grab-and-go office lunch, or you just want to linger for a while with friends and colleagues why not drop by. If you’re in Mayfair, we’re just around the corner.

Oh, and before we forget, you can add churros con chocolate caliente for just £7.50 per person. In English, that’s crispy fried dough with dipping chocolate. Now, that really is a sweet deal.
