October is Rioja Month at El Pirata – and we are marking it properly.
Different ways to explore one of Spain’s great wine regions: a sharing menu built around the wines, and seven Riojas poured by the glass throughout the month. One of Spain’s great wine regions, given the time it deserved.

THE RIOJA ROUTE PAIRING MENU
Running throughout October, our sharing menu is built around four glasses of Rioja. Everything arrives for the whole table – jamón ibérico, fresh seafood, lamb chops and confit duck rice, finishing with crema catalana, coffee and a Pacharán. Each course paired with a wine from the list.
£77 per person. Minimum two guests. Available alongside the full à la carte.
SEVEN RIOJAS BY THE GLASS
In October, our wine list expands to include seven Riojas by the glass – whites, a rosé and reds from crianza through to Muga Reserva. A chance to explore the region one glass at a time, without committing to a bottle.
