El Pirata of Mayfair has been around for over 30 years
Having been around in Mayfair for over 30 years, it’s fair to say that the chefs here at El Pirata have a lot of experience with authentic, Spanish food. Our ethos here is all about celebrating ‘la rustica’ – the rustic way of cooking. Using fresh ingredients and traditional recipes, we create tapas plates which conjure up our roots in the Spanish countryside, mountains and coast – it’s an authentic taste of the beautiful country we call home.
NEW AND IMPROVED DISHES
Zac has helped us enhance our beautiful flavours and modernise a few of our dishes strengthening our offer to our customers. Some of the new and improved dishes we’re most proud of have to be our Arroz Negro con Calamares – grilled baby squid on a bed of richly flavoured black squid ink rice – and our Secretos de Cerdo Iberico; the prized cuts of world renowned Iberican pork sitting on crushed potatoes, with a dash of sea salt and rosemary.
